Meet Laurie

Hi, I’m Laurie Banka!

I’m the author of Courageous Fierce and Faithful – Refining Faith Amidst Trials, a Christian faith‑based blog where I share stories, insights, wisdom, and advice from the perspective of someone who, like many of you, is still learning who God wants me to be.

I’m a wife, mother, teacher, friend, and cancer survivor. As I walk each day with God, allowing His light to shine on all He has made me to be, I continue to learn that each day I seek God’s path instead of my own is a day when the truths He reveals completely change my perspective.
